César E. Chávez High School has been chosen by the Kaiser Thriving Schools Initiative to become one of 20 specially selected schools in California, and one of 8 in Southern California to continue their work in transforming education through trauma informed practices.
Over the past two years, under the leadership of Matthew Cruz, the teachers at Cesar E. Chavez have dedicated themselves to caring for the WHOLE child. Through this process, our hope is that our students receive the support they need and develop the skills to become WHOLE on their journey to a successful future!
